Parts are cut into thin birch sheets and released by hand, then slotted together following a picture booklet. The finished sailing ship carries three masts with fabric-look sails and sits on a shaped wooden cradle. Expect four to six hours of building, spread over a few sittings.
Specifications
- Laser-cut plywood sheets; parts push out by hand
- Glue-free slot assembly
- Finished model about 32 cm long on its stand
- Illustrated step booklet included
- Sanding stick supplied for tight joints
- Suggested age 14 years and above
Care & Use
Ease stubborn parts with the sanding stick instead of forcing them, as thin plywood splits along the grain and a broken tab cannot be replaced. Keep the finished ship away from damp air, which softens the slot joints and lets the masts drop.
