The build uses beams, pins and gears rather than only stacked bricks, so the finished car has a functioning steering rack linked to the wheel and doors that swing on hinges. It measures roughly 33 cm long when complete and sits on wide rubber tyres. A printed booklet takes the build through numbered stages.

Sort pieces into trays by stage before starting; the beam and pin sizes are easy to confuse. Store the finished car flat, since the doors are the first parts to pop off if it is carried by the roof.
