The hull is built in sections around an internal frame, then planked, before the masts, rigging lines and printed sails go on. A USB-powered LED string threads through the lower deck and lantern positions. Finished, the ship measures about 58 cm from bowsprit to stern and rests on two moulded cradles.

Care & Use
Thread the LED string through each deck as it is closed rather than trying to feed it in afterwards, when the hull is sealed. Keep the rigging cord away from heat sources, which makes it brittle and leaves it fraying at every knot.
